Residents urged to use water sparingly due to breakdown at Olifantspoort plant

POLOKWANE -According to a statement issued by the Polokwane Municipality all areas of supply will be affected.

“We have just received a notification from Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) that operations at the Olifantspoort plant have been stopped due to a breakdown along the Specon pipeline. Estimated time for repairs will be 8 hours.”

Technicians are working around the clock to restore operations, however we urge residents to use water sparingly in the meantime to avoid any shortages until the problem is resolved, they added.
