#WFD – Pasta Bake with Mushroom, Leeks and Chorizo

POLOKWANE – Pasta bakes are easy to make and won’t take up much of your time.

What’s for Dinner says this recipe is a delicious pasta bake with a combination of delicate flavours tingling the tastebuds.

Ingredients

  1. 200g chorizo sausage, sliced
  2. 30ml margarine
  3. 125ml milk
  4. 50g parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  5. 175g mushrooms, roughly chopped
  6. 15ml olive oil
  7. 310ml water
  8. 4 leeks, sliced
  9. 1 x KNORR Cheese, Ham and Mushroom Flavour Pasta and Sauce

Method

  1. Mix together the KNORR Cheese, Ham and Mushroom Pasta and Sauce sachet contents, milk, water and margarine.
  2. Bring to the boil, simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until cooked.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the leeks, mushrooms and sausage.
  4. Add the pasta to the sausage mixture, mix well.
  5. Place in an ovenproof dish.
  6. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
