POLOKWANE – One of the residents Review spoke to says traffic during peak hours is a nightmare for anyone stuck in it because the intersection becomes a four-way-stop.

“It has been more than a week now and it is bound to become dangerous,” he said.

Review spoke to Polokwane Municipality spokepserson, Matshidiso Mothapo, who said that the problem had been logged at the municipality and that a team would be dispatched to investigate.

“We are also advising readers to rather report these problems to the municipality. We have a designated report line specifically for electrical issues which includes traffic lights not working. If you report it to the municipality, we will respond quick,” he explained.

For all electricity related queries or problems, residents can contact electrical control at 015 260 2490/2705.
