Silver for eco-friendliness

The Sunrise Primary Eco-school staff, Johannes Lekalakala and Silda Maphorima with their silver certificate at the Wessa Award Ceremony in Polokwane.

MOKOPANE -The eco-schools is a globally recognised programme run by schools to educate learners about environmental awareness and sustainable utilisation of resources through many projects such as recycling, reusing and replacing resources. The programme is sponsored by Wessa and a number of schools, including Sunrise Primary School, are affiliated to this organisation to promote sustainable utilisation of resources.

Sunrise Primary school has been running this program since 2014 and is honored to promote an eco-friendly society.
