Four arrested for mob killing in Lebowakgomo

LIMPOPO -Police in Magatle, outside Lebowakgomo, have arrested four suspects, between the ages of 24 and 55 years old, who were part of the community who killed two suspected stock thieves.

The arrest follows a mob killing which occured when two suspected criminals were brutally killed and two others seriously injured by a mob at Bolahlakgomo village in Magatle area  outside Lebowakgomo.

Police spokesperson Lt Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says more arrests are expected and the arrested suspects will appear before Magatle Magistrate Court on Monday.

“Police investigations are still continuing,” he concluded.
