POLOKWANE – This event was hosted by the Department of Sport in collaboration with the Department of Education.

“The championship will enable the departments and the Federation to select the qualifying athletes who will ultimately represent the province at the National championship.

Faith Moyo from Mountainview Senior Secondary School gives his best during the triple jump for boys u/15

Lethabo Shibambo from Capricorn High School gives it her best shot during the shotput for girls u/15.

Nicole Blunt from Hoërskool Pietersburg takes off at the start of the 400 m for girls u/16.

“The championship is considered as another vehicle through which talented athletes are identified,” says Jermina Kaka, Communications, Marketing and Publications Officer at the Department of Sport.
