Line repairs may affect water supply to Polokwane, warns muni

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality received notification from Lepelle Northern Water that the Olifantspoort Plant has stopped water supply to the city to allow for repairs on the line.

“According to the notification, it will take about 5 hours to complete the repairs and it will affect all our supply areas,” says Municpal Spokesperson, Disree Manyane.

The public are advised to use water sparingly to avoid negatively impacting reservoir levels.

Water related issues should be reported to the municipality on 0152902376/0152930001.
